Winter Young Investigator Awards (YIAs)
Recognizing outstanding research abstracts accepted for presentation at the 2026 American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting.
The CAHON Young Investigator Awards (YIAs) recognize and support outstanding early-career physicians, researchers, and physician trainees who are advancing the fields of hematology and oncology through scientific discovery, clinical innovation, and academic excellence.
As part of its mission to promote professional development and foster future leaders, CAHON presents Young Investigator Awards in conjunction with selected national and international scientific meetings and CAHON educational programs. The award highlights the achievements of emerging investigators whose research contributes to improved patient care and advances in cancer research.
Eligibility
Applicant criteria:
- Be a current CAHON member, including:
- Associate Members (residents, fellow, and MDs from China)
- Regular or Allied Members who are within three years of completing training and hold the rank of instructor or Assistant Professor
- Be listed as the first author or senior author of the accepted abstract or presentation presented at the annual ASH Meeting.
- Attend the CAHON Winter Symposium held in conjunction with ASH.

Award
Award recipients will receive:
- A CAHON Young Investigator Awards Certificate
- A $500 cash award
