Held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), the CAHON Fall Symposium will offer expert perspectives and practical insights on current advancements in immuno-oncology and a range of cancer treatments. The program will foster collaboration and provide a forum for meaningful interaction among immunologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Young Investigator Awards

To foster growth and achievement amongst CAHON’s early career or physician-in-training members, CAHON will award up to five Young Investigator Awards (YIA) based on the scientific merit of abstracts submitted to the 2026 Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) Annual Meeting.

Each awardee will receive $500 and a certificate. International recipients will receive a certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Available to current CAHON Members or Non-members sponsored/referred by a current Regular/Active CAHON member.
  2. Recognized as the first or senior author in the abstract or presentation presented at the 2026 SITC Annual Meeting.
  3. Availability to attend CAHON’s Young Investigator Award Ceremony during the 2026 Fall Symposium

Applications should include:

  • YIA Application Form
  • Accepted 2026 SITC abstract including the abstract category
  • CV, including education and current training level or position
