Delong Liu, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine at the New York Medical College and attending physician at the Westchester Medical Center, NY. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology as well as the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He served as the founding president of the Chinese American Hematologist and Oncologist Network (CAHON.org).

Delong Liu graduated from the medical schools in the Henan Medical University and Shanghai Medical University in China. He received his PhD in Oncogenesis from the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and completed residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He had fellowship training in Oncology and Hematology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hematology & Oncology (www.jhoonline.biomedcentral.com ) as well as for the journals, Experimental Hematology & Oncology (ehoonline.biomedcentral.com), and Biomarker Research (biomarkerres.biomedcentral.com).
