Outstanding Service Award (OSA)
This award recognizes CAHON members and supporters who have made significant contributions to and impact on CAHON’s development through outstanding volunteerism. CAHON provides Outstanding Service Awards annually.
Application Process for Outstanding Service Awards
Eligibility Criteria
Outstanding CAHON members, supporters and friends who have:
- Significantly contributed to CAHON’s mission and growth through leadership, mentorship, collaboration, advocacy, or visibility on the national and international stage.

Nomination Requirements: Nominator must be a CAHON member. Self-nominations are accepted. Nominators must provide a nomination statement (350 words or less) which specifies the ways in which the nominee meets the criteria.
Selection Criteria
The OSA evaluation committee will consider:
- The nominee’s service, leadership, and influence in advancing CAHON’s mission and community, such as fostering collaboration, promoting CAHON’s visibility nationally and internationally, mentoring future leaders, and strengthening CAHON as a professional home.
